Analog Sweden SWEN2, a SB 2026 news, is the evolution swENIGISER Orgon System Enigiser analog synth – it’s available now
At Superbooth 2026, in one of the hidden rooms, the Swedish company Analog Sweden presented the SWEN2. It’s an analog monophonic Synthesizer that has the DNA of the swENIGISER synth but taken further with a feature-rich architecture.

Most of the time, synth classics like the SH-101, Minimoog, TB-303, and others are revived. A different story with unusual, strange machines that have almost been forgotten. Rarely are they given a second life. That was the case not with this release.
Analog Sweden released the SWengisizer at Superbooth 2023, a recreation of the unique “rave classic” Orgon Systems Enigiser from 1995. Later, a filter module was developed based on it. For Superbooth 2026, Analog Sweden is back with the SWEN2, the evolution of this unique synth.
This weekend (April 25-26), the first edition of the Music Machines Summit is taking place in Stockholm, Sweden, where several developers are showcasing their products.
Analog Sweden is also present, unveiling the SWEN2, which will also be on display at Superbooth 2026 in Berlin in early May.
According to the developers, the SWEN2 is the evolution of the SWENIGISER from 2023. Its foundation remains the circuit of the original Orgon System Enigiser from 1994, but taken to a new level.
The somewhat unusual analog signal flow and feature set made both the original and the clone a unique synth. The SWEN2 takes this and adds some new goodies.
At its core is still the single VCO with various waveforms, including PWM, a rich VCO modulation bus with FM, and a sawtooth shape bus.
The SWEN2 introduces a second oscillator, described as a ghost OSC2/noise generator, as well as a sub-oscillator tuned an/two octaves lower to add depth to the sound. Other oscillator improvements include an octave selector and a fine/coarse tune toggle.
From here, it goes into the unique-sounding multimode analog filter, now based on its 12-mode proto VCF/VCA module, with controls for cutoff, resonance, tracking, and volume/drive.
Like in the former, this drive is not found in the VCO area but after the filter. The clip drive is now selectable as well. Both sections now also include a built-in auto-calibration/tuning function and a new VCO/VCF source mixer.
In addition to the VCO and VCF changes, there are also improved modulators. Like its predecessor, Analog Sweden SWEN2 offers three envelopes: one AD, one AR, and one full ADSR.
For a monosynth, this is very extensive, and this version also has new trig toggles. Also new are the LFOs. Now, it has two multi-wave LFOs with frequency control, both offering hi/lo modes, allowing you to use them as oscillators plus trigger options.
LFO1 has a wave toggle, while LFO2 has a clock sync option. This is a nice improvement over the SWENIGISER’s more basic low-frequency oscillator.
A big new feature of the SWEN2 is the built-in generative sequencer with knob control over the steps, probability, range, and scale.
Part of the redesign was also the Eurorack-compatible patchbay on top of the unit, which no longer requires gate converters. It gives you CV control over a wide range of parameters, including the modulators, making it a semi-modular synth.
On the connection side, the new Analog Sweden SWEN2 also made a level up. It now has USB-C MIDI in/out and DIN MIDI input. Alongside the main output, it also now has a dedicated headphone output.
Power is delivered over USB-C, so you can also use it with a power bank. Hopefully, it’s properly shielded; otherwise, you’ll have an unwanted noise generator in the signal → according to the developer, it makes it so that it doesn’t make noise.
The SWEN2 comes in a new travel-friendly size, with a sturdy aluminum or steel case. The developers also say that it now has more knobs and switches to play with. And there are also more LEDs. There is no demo of the SWEN2, but here is one from Hainbach and the previous version.
At first glance, this is a beautiful evolution of the SWENIGIZER, which was more of a clone. With this version, they are moving away from an authentic clone towards a more modern, feature-rich version while keeping the original DNA.
Surprisingly, the affordable price point for such a unique-sounding, niche analog synth.
Analog Sweden SWEN2 will be available in June for $699/699€.
