Charlotte Cornfield and Status/Non-Status are among the artists performing in Guelph from July 17 to 19

The annual Hillside Festival is making its return to Guelph, ON, from July 17 to 19. Shows will take place at the idyllic Guelph Lake Island, with artists like Status/Non-Status (pictured above) and Charlotte Cornfield bidding fans a happy Hillside.
In addition to the impressive music lineup, attendees will be able to enjoy attractions like the Indigenous Circle, workshops, artisan markets and more.

Charlotte Cornfield
Charlotte Cornfield is a seasoned Canadian singer-songwriter whose music Hurts Like Hell (in a good way). Cornfield is a storyteller first and foremost, her latest album delving into domesticity and motherhood.
Fulu Miziki
A masked ensemble from Democratic Republic of the Congo, these artists are bound to transport you elsewhere. Where exactly? A land where people are connected to Mother Nature, liberated and peaceful, where you’re able to dance for hours.
Gwenifer Raymond
This Wales-born, Brighton-based makes fantastical soundscapes, with fingerpicked folk cuts from Last Night I Heard The Dog Star Bark transforming Guelph Lake Island into something spooky and ancient.
Horse Lords
Much like Angine de Poitrine, the Baltimore experimental rock band reveal that it’s possible to dance to a weird time signature. They’re energetic and eclectic, and, according to their newest release, they Demand to Be Taken to Heaven Alive!
Status/Non-Status
Calling all the rockers! Status/Non-Status make transportive indie rock rooted in community-building, complex family history and songwriter Adam Sturgeon’s Indigenous heritage.
